Podcast: The flip side of the coin: why non use of data could be more dangerous than its misuse

The Farr Institute’s Kerina Jones from the University of Swansea Medical School was recently interviewed at the Administrative Data Research Network’s annual conference.

In this podcast, Kerina explains how the non-use of health data, rather than its misuse, could be partly responsible for thousands of deaths and cost society billions of pounds. She outlines her research into the harms of data non-use and calls for the socially responsible reuse of data to become the norm to save lives and resources.
