In November 2015, members of the Innovative Healthcare Delivery Programme (IHDP) team visited the five Scottish cancer centres (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness) to discuss what current data sources and systems are in place to support local cancer services and to explore opportunities to jointly build a more dynamic, data-rich approach to managing patient pathways.
At all of the centres, the team found strong interest and commitment in building a Scottish Cancer Intelligence Framework.
