Testogen Review 2021: Is This Booster a Scam or Legit?

Jonathan Hoarau

Testogen is very popular and as far as testosterone boosters go, this one makes some pretty bold claims to boost testosterone levels with its formula. It sounds simple: a dosage of 4 capsules per day, combined with a healthy lifestyle, and then reap the benefits.

The problem with most big brands is that they structure their advertisements so well, you never know if they are popular for their efficacy to boost testosterone or just great marketing. That makes it hard to trust the many Testogen reviews out there, too.

So, does Testogen work?” Well, here’s what I found out in my experience-based Testogen review:

Paying for Testogen — Is the Site Trustworthy?

Buying any sort of testosterone booster off the internet can be a crapshoot, and it’s always a bit scary to hand your credit card info over.Their site looks sleek and professional — a good sign, but hardly enough to prove they’re trustworthy. It’s at least easy to read and navigate, though.

They accept all major credit cards, although they don’t take PayPal and checking accounts. Still, it’s easy enough to complete your transaction.

I didn’t have any issues ordering. I paid for a single order, and that’s all they charged me for — there were no rebills or hidden charges. As best as I can tell, they’re entirely on the up-and-up at the moment.

Just to be safe, though, you should check your credit card statement after making your purchase of Testogen — as you should after anything you order off the internet.

What Prices and Plans Are Available?

20% SAVE20

Testogen comes as two primary products. One is their regular capsules, and the other is their Testodrops, which is a liquid version of Testogen, and does the same for increasing your testosterone.

You can order these in a variety of ways, but mostly your choices are one-, two-, or three-month supplies. Both of these supplies include free products, so you’re essentially getting a few extra boxes free.

I was also happy to see that they had a 100-day money-back guarantee for Testogen if I wasn’t satisfied. I didn’t get to test the money-back guarantee, though—satisfaction does that to you.

The Shipping Experience

The company offers two shipping options for Testogen: Free shipping, which takes 5-7 days and doesn’t provide you with tracking information, or you can pay $7.49 for 1-3 day shipping—which comes with tracking info.

I went with the free shipping option and received my order in 5 business days. Everything came in a discreet package, so I didn’t have to have any awkward conversations with my neighbors about my online shopping habits.

While I had no issues with their shipping, I think I’d use the paid option next time. This stuff isn’t cheap, so it’d be nice to know exactly where your order is at all times.

Essential Things to Know About Testogen

Testogen uses 11 all-natural ingredients, each of which is believed to increase testosterone levels by increasing the production of testosterone, among other mechanisms. These natural ingredients are:

D-Aspartic Acid

D-Aspartic acid is a vital amino acid regulator for your body that stimulates the production of luteinizing hormone (LH), an amino acid compound. In turn, LH boosts testosterone levels, making D-Aspartic acid one of the best natural ingredients for muscle growth and stamina.

D-aspartic acid shows to significantly increase the size of the gastrocnemius muscle compared to a placebo

Magnesium

In addition to being necessary for testosterone production in the body, magnesium can help promote better sleep. Magnesium can give you better mental focus and higher energy levels, on top of more testosterone. Sleep is vital for your health, especially as we age. Studies show that poor sleep can translate to trouble with erections, decreased strength, and persistent fatigue.

Vitamin D3

Studies reveal that low vitamin D levels often correlate to low testosterone levels, so you can use all the extra support you can get. Vitamin D3 is especially useful, as it can boost free protein levels. Other benefits include helping to combat fatigue, getting strong bones, and increased muscle strength.

Nettle Leaf Extract

Some proteins can interfere with your body’s ability to utilize testosterone, even if your testosterone levels are normal. Natural nettle leaf extract binds itself to these proteins in your body, leaving your testosterone free to do its work without interference.

Korean Red Ginseng Extract

Long revered in Eastern medicine as a natural aphrodisiac, Korean red ginseng extract can protect your testes from damage, allowing them to continue testosterone production.

Fenugreek Extract

Fenugreek is another natural herb that’s intended to boost libido through upping testosterone in the body. However, extracts from this herb can also increase stamina and vitality

Fenugreek extract shows significant potential to increase libido in men over the course of two months

Vitamin K1

This critical nutrient helps your body with vitamin D absorption, ensuring none of the vitamin D inside these natural testostosterone pills goes to waste.

Vitamin B6

The B vitamins are used for all sorts of things in your body, one of which is to increase testosterone levels. These vitamins also help to keep estrogen levels in check, which can be kryptonite for testosterone in your body if too high.

Zinc

Oysters are full of zinc, which should tell you all you need to know about what zinc can do for your sex drive. Your body can lose zinc while sweating, so if you’re pushing yourself in the gym, you need all of this mineral you can get to keep testosterone levels high.

Boron

A small amount of boron can make a big difference in free testosterone levels in your body. It’s especially essential not only for testosterone, but also for anyone looking to add bulk, lean muscle, and strength.

Avocado contains the most boron per mg/100 g, followed by peanut butter and dry peanuts

Bioperine

This testosterone booster contains Bioperine, a natural compound found in black pepper. Bioperine helps your body absorb everything else in the Testogen, improving the delivery of all the useful minerals, extracts, and vitamins.

Do Any of These Ingredients Cause Side Effects?

Since the ingredients in Testogen are all-natural, side effects on your body from this testosterone booster are extremely rare. This product is not FDA approved, but it is manufactured in an FDA approved laboratory and doesn’t contain chemicals.

However, there’s always the possibility you may experience some of the following in the quest for more testosterone:

  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Nausea
  • Headaches
  • Cramps

Are Testosterone Boosters Safe?

You shouldn’t worry about taking a natural testosterone booster as long as it’s a natural supplement, and you’re over the age of 18.

Full disclosure, I tried Testogen to up my testosterone levels because I am at an age way past 30, and needed to relive my testosterone-charged days. This only turned into a review because what I found was simply shocking!

The company that owns Testogen — MuscleClub Limited — promises all the benefits of increased testosterone, from improved libido to enhanced muscle growth when you exercise. To boot, the formula is natural.

Just remember to ask your doctor about this product if you’re taking medication, and understand that Testogen can’t treat a severe hormone imbalance.

Supplements like this one with wholesome ingredients are one thing, but I can’t say the same for dabbling with steroids or other powerful chemical alternatives. The same applies for taking hormones — testosterone — without medical supervision.

My Results with Testogen

I liked everything that testosterone boosters promise to do: improve your energy levels, boost your sex life, sharpen your focus, etc. However, none of that is why I initially started looking into testosterone supplements.

Long story short, I found myself unable to perform to my satisfaction in the gym anymore. I didn’t see any strength gains, and I got tired of not being able to keep up with the younger guys any more. I began to suspect that I had trouble with my hormones: specifically, low testosterone levels.

I ordered a three-month supply of Testogen off their website. It was expensive but figured I’d give it at least 90 days to give my waning testosterone a boost, and I liked the idea of getting two free boxes.

I started taking Testogen right away. It’s a bit of a pain to take, as you have to remember to take four capsules every morning. Still, it would all be worth it if it worked and I could enjoy the benefits of more testosterone: feeling stronger, improving my endurance during workouts, and my performance overall.

I didn’t see much of a change in my body at first, and to be honest, I was beginning to suspect I’d wasted my money, especially because I was skeptical over natural ingredients having any noticeable effects. I kept taking it though, just in case.

The first inkling that it might be working came after about two weeks. I started noticing that I had a bit more energy than usual.

I also noticed improved exercise performance with enough gas left in the tank to squeeze out a few more reps than usual. I had a little more juice than I usually did, and that allowed me to work a little bit harder in the gym than I usually would. My performance definitely did improve, though.

I guess it’s no surprise, then, that I would start noticing improvements in other areas. My max on the bench press went up 20 pounds after two months, and I dropped a waist size after three.

I want to make it perfectly clear, though: the Testogen didn’t just magically cause these changes after a few weeks. I believe it gave me the energy I needed to do the work that was necessary. You can’t take this booster and sit on your butt; eat whatever and make no healthy changes and expect to see miracles.

As for other areas of my life, I can’t say I turned into a voracious sex fiend or anything; then again, I’d never really had any complaints with my sex drive, either. I will say that I never turned down any action on account of being tired, though.

All in all, here are the results I had after taking my three-month supply of Testogen:

  • My bench press increased by 20+ pounds
  • I dropped a waist size
  • I felt more energetic
  • I never turned down sex
  • I finally felt like I was making progress in the gym

What Have Other People Experienced?

If you do a little bit of research on the internet, you’ll find that my experience is relatively common among Testogen users.
The Testogen reviews on Amazon are largely positive. Here are just a few examples of feedback on this booster that I found that mirrored my experience:

testogen-user-reviewsAll of these guys experienced the same thing I did taking this male hormone booster — right down to the skepticism before we saw results at around the two-week mark when the production of testosterone started to amp up.

Does this mean I can guarantee that Testogen will work for anyone? No, of course, I can’t. However, given that my experience matches those that others have had, I feel confident saying that Testogen is one of the best OTC T-boosters with natural ingredients and extracts on the market today for men over the age of 18.

Where Can You Buy Testogen?

You may find Testogen at Amazon and similar retailers (though you won’t find Testogen at GNC), but your best bet is to order and purchase this male hormone booster directly from their website.

Coupon/”Free” Testogen Bottles

They often offer deals on their website; currently, they’re offering a couple of free bottles of pills if you order more than a one-month supply.

However, you may be able to find discount coupons as well to snag free bottles. As of August 2020, the code “CORONA2020” gets you 20% off your entire order.

What’s the Final Verdict on My Review?

I was very pleased with my entire experience both ordering and taking Testogen. It’s not a miracle drug, but it did exactly what I wanted it to in terms of increasing my testosterone production and, hence, testosterone levels. I’m certainly a satisfied customer with this product.

So, does Testogen work to increase testosterone?

Overall, I would give it a rating of 4.7 out of 5. This hormone booster is a little pricey, and it takes a little bit of time for you to see results, but other than that I don’t have much to complain about. It was effective for improving the issues I had and I felt strong while taking it,

For a more thorough breakdown of the ranking, here’s how Testogen stacks up in a few crucial categories:

Results: 4.7/5

As I mentioned above, it took a few weeks before anything started happening, but once it did I was very satisfied. Of course, don’t have unrealistic expectations — it won’t turn you into a bodybuilder overnight or anything.

If you want enough energy to take your workout or love life to the next level, though, it’s as good a supplement that’s free of chemicals as you’re likely to find. To get the best results for your muscles, sexual health, and enjoy other benefits, stick to the correct product dosage.

Not every man will take Testogen for the same reasons, though, so here’s a better idea of how it worked for me at the recommended dosage in various situations:

Adding Lean Muscle: 5/5

This is what I bought it for, and I got the results I wanted in terms of muscle mass. Again, though, you have to put in the work to get the strength and muscle — the Testogen won’t do it for you.

Libido: 4.5/5

I didn’t have any complaints in the sex drive department before I bought this natural testosterone booster, so I’m not the best person to ask. However, I definitely had a lot more energy for sex than usual, and my erections appeared to be somewhat stronger.

Energy: 4.8/5

It gave me more energy to get work done in the gym, so it gets high marks from me. However, it wasn’t like I suddenly reverted to puberty with raging testosterone and skyrocketing energy levels.

Quality of Ingredients: 4.5/5

Every one of the ingredients inside Testogen is all-natural and has a proven history of boosting testosterone. It also includes natural ingredients that help your body absorb the new testosterone, and it’s manufactured in a lab boasting the FDA’s seal of approval.

The only reason why it didn’t get a perfect score in this category is because of a few ingredients it lacks. Namely, we’d have liked to have seen some DHEA or ashwagandha root inside to further boost testosterone, both of which are other useful natural compounds.

Price: 4/5

It’s expensive to buy Testogen — there are no two ways about it, the price is a little high. Personally, I’m happy with the results and feel it’s worth every penny, but if you’re price-conscious, you can probably find cheaper options out there. They also offer a 100-day money-back guarantee if you’re unsatisfied.

Just be careful about not going too cheap. After all, you’ll only get results from proven ingredients — and proven ingredients cost money. A supplement you buy for a too-good-to-be-true price probably won’t deliver best results.

Side Effects: 4.8/5

I didn’t experience any side effects using Testogen, and I don’t think many other men do, either. However, it is possible to have an adverse reaction to this stuff, so I can’t give it a perfect score for side effects.

Generally speaking, though, the worst of the side effects you have to worry about is an upset stomach for a little while.

Conclusion: What Is the Best Testosterone Booster?

If you want one of the best testosterone boosters that can help you finally start seeing the results you’ve always wanted in the gym and bedroom, I hope my Testogen review illustrates the benefits of using Testogen.

We recommend reading our prime male and testrx reviews for better comparison of other supplements that can naturally increase the production of testosterone.

You’ll still have to carry your end of the bargain while using Testogen, of course — Testogen ingredients work, but it won’t just magically give you muscles. But if you put in the work, the Testogen should ensure you see results by boosting testosterone naturally.
